FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about our services, process, and booking.

Scheduling & Booking

How do I book an appointment?
You can book directly on our website by clicking "Book Now." Select your service, choose a date, and pay a deposit to secure your slot. You can also call us at (201) 844-9001.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required when booking online through our booking portal. This secures your time slot and confirms your appointment.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for multi-day services like ceramic coating or PPF. Same-week availability depends on current schedule.
Do you offer mobile detailing?
Yes. We offer fully self-contained mobile detailing throughout North and South NJ. Our unit brings its own water and power — we just need access to your vehicle.

Vehicle Prep

How do I prepare my car for a detail appointment?
Remove personal belongings, child seats, and any loose items from the interior. Don't wash the car right before — we'll handle the proper wash using our process.
Should I wash my car before bringing it in?
No. A home wash can introduce swirls if done incorrectly. We start every service with a proper decontamination wash as part of our process.
Can you detail a car that's already been in an accident?
It depends on the damage. We can detail repainted panels, but fresh respray needs to cure first (typically 30–60 days before polishing). Call us to discuss your situation.

Interior Specifics

Can you remove pet hair?
Yes. Pet hair removal is included in our full detail service. Heavy pet hair coverage may require extra time and is quoted accordingly.
Can you remove stains from seats and carpet?
Most stains respond well to our deep cleaning and extraction process. Set-in stains (older than 6 months) may not fully come out, but we'll make a significant improvement in all cases.
Do you do odor removal?
Yes. We offer ozone odor treatment as an add-on service. This is effective for smoke, pet odors, and food smells. It's included in our full detail where needed.

Exterior & Paint

What causes swirl marks?
Swirls are typically caused by improper washing technique — automatic car washes, dirty wash mitts, and circular wiping motions are the main culprits. Machine polishing removes them.
Will paint correction remove all scratches?
Paint correction removes scratches that are within the clear coat layer. If a scratch has broken through the base coat or primer, it requires touch-up paint, not polishing.
How do I know if my paint needs correction before ceramic coating?
If your paint has visible swirls or scratches, correction should be done before coating — the coating will lock in any existing defects. We inspect your paint before every coating job.

Ceramic Coating

How long does ceramic coating last?
A professionally applied coating lasts 2–5 years depending on the product tier and how well it's maintained. Consumer-grade coatings last 6–12 months.
How do I maintain a ceramic coated car?
Use a pH-neutral soap, two-bucket method, and a clean microfiber wash mitt. Avoid harsh chemicals, automatic car washes, and waxing over the coating. We provide a full maintenance guide.
Can I coat a brand new car?
Yes — in fact, coating a new car is ideal. We'll do a light decontamination wash and apply the coating before any environmental damage occurs.

Pricing & Expectations

Why do prices vary so much?
Vehicle size, current condition, and which services you select all affect the final quote. A lifted truck with heavy contamination takes significantly more time than a compact sedan in good shape.
What's included in the starting price?
Starting prices reflect the base service on a standard-sized vehicle in average condition. We confirm the exact price after a brief inspection or based on your vehicle description.
Do you offer any guarantees?
Yes. If you're not satisfied with any aspect of your service, let us know within 48 hours and we'll make it right. We stand behind every job we do.
